NFPA-130-2020 (Standard for Fixed Guideway Transit and Passenger Rail Systems) requires circuit integrity testing of cables for Transit emergency applications.  The test protocol requires 1-hr cable survivability followed by a hose stream.  The cables need to maintain circuit integrity after the fire and hose stream. This is the most difficult test in the cable industry and is required for all emergency circuits in transit environments.
